The adventure begins early, between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m., when our Trip in Peru team will pick you up directly from your hotel. We will start the journey to the train station in Ollantaytambo in a comfortable tourist vehicle, passing through Andean landscapes characteristic of the Sacred Valley. In Ollantaytambo, you will board the Tourist Train bound for the town of Aguas Calientes. During the approximately one hour and 45-minute journey, you can relax while enjoying panoramic views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting to accompany you to the bus station. After a 30 to 40-minute ascent, you will arrive at the entrance gate of the citadel. With your ticket and ID in hand, you will enter the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. For approximately two and a half hours, you will tour the most important sectors of Machu Picchu with our professional guide, including temples, ceremonial enclosures, viewpoints, and terraces. The guide will share with you the history, architecture, and symbolism of this Inca legacy. After the tour, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. There you will have free time to have lunch, rest, or visit the town's artisan market. At the scheduled time, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon your arrival, our staff will be waiting to transfer you back to the city of Cusco in a tourist vehicle. The service concludes with your arrival in Cusco.
