Day 1 / 04:00 hrs: Pickup and trip to Ollantaytambo
We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco early in the morning. We will get on a very comfortable tourist transport to travel directly to the Ollantaytambo train station, in the heart of the beautiful Sacred Valley.
Day 1 / 05:45 hrs: Train ride to Aguas Calientes
We will board the tourist train bound for Aguas Calientes. Take advantage of this relaxing trip to enjoy the beautiful Andean landscapes through the train's large windows.
Day 1 / 07:30 hrs: Bus ride up to Machu Picchu
Upon arrival in the town, our team will be ready to help you board the eco-friendly bus (Consettur). It will be a short uphill trip that will take you right to the main entrance of Machu Picchu.
Day 1 / 09:00 hrs: Guided tour inside the Citadel
The big moment has arrived! We will enter the Machu Picchu archaeological site with your professional guide. We will walk through its stone temples, learn about its incredible history, and you will have time to take the best photos of your trip.
Day 1 / 11:30 hrs: Return to Aguas Calientes and free time
At the end of the visit, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. Here you will have completely free time to find a nice tourist restaurant for lunch, walk through its streets, or relax in the thermal baths (all on your own).
Day 1 / 16:22 hrs: Train back to Ollantaytambo
We will say goodbye to the town and head to the station to take our train back to Ollantaytambo. Remember, the scenery on the return trip is just as beautiful!
Day 1 / 18:10 hrs: Final transfer to your hotel in Cusco
When the train arrives in Ollantaytambo, our transport staff will be waiting to take you directly to your hotel in Cusco. A perfect ending to a magical day! (Note: The times are referential and may be adjusted slightly depending on the train availability you choose).
